The CTP Board of Directors
At its July 2007 meeting, the CTP Board of Directors elected Board Secretary Ainsley Nies as its newest Board President. Ainsley has been an active CTP supporter ever since she graduated from Programming Class 4 in 1978. She joined the CTP Board in 2002, and has used her project management skills to help CTP staff realize fundraising projects.
Ainsley also runs a consulting business, following over two decades at Hewlett Packard as a software engineer and project manager in IT and Finance. She has a strong interest in Open Space Technology, an approach for facilitating meetings and conferences where the people who attend are the source of topics and outcomes. She is also on the Board of her local chapter of the American Association of University Women, the leadership council of the Bay Area Agile Project Leadership Network, and volunteers in putting on the annual Women on Writing conference at Skyline College.
