Office System Training (OST) Components

  • OST A – An academic class that covers the Microsoft Office suite.
  • OST ProProfessional. Retail. Office. A practical hands-on class that focused on retail sales and entry-level office work skills.
  • OST Full – OST “A” and “Pro” can be taken together for the full OST experience

OST A – Class Facts

  • 3 months of academic training
  • Externship and employment services may be offered on a case-by-case basis
  • Schedule: classes are scheduled Monday – Friday mornings
  • $3000 pr $5000 if externship and employment service are included
  • Classes start every 3 months in at the beginning of Jan, April, July and Oct.

OST A is an academic class that covers the use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel Power Point and Outlook. Computer Skills Bootcamp is a prerequisite for this class.

OST Pro – Class Facts

  • 3 months of hands-on training
  • Externship and employment service may be offered on a case-by-case basis
  • Schedule: classes are scheduled Monday – Friday mornings
  • $3000 pr $5000 if externship and employment service are included
  • Classes start the first Monday of each month.

OST Pro is a practical class that covers the essential skills needed to work in any office setting, retail salesĀ  environment and customer service job roles.

OST Full – Class Facts

  • 4 months – 3 months of academic and hands-on training and 1 month externship
  • Comprehensive employment services
  • Schedule: classes are scheduled Monday – Friday mornings
  • $8000 if externship and employment service are included
  • Classes start the first Monday of each month.

OST Full combined the “A” and “Pro” programs into a complete package of academic, computer and practical skills. OST Full is much more than a Microsoft Office training class. It is a comprehensive vocational training program that offers students a chance to learn real workplace skills both technical and professional. Students learn what will be expected of them on the job, from creating an Excel spreadsheet to writing a professional letter.
