October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and this year CTP is making it easy for companies to stand with us. We have just published our NDEAM 2026 Partner One-Pager, a single page that lays out who we are, what we achieved last year, and five low-effort ways your company can feature CTP this October.

Why NDEAM matters

Only 24.5% of people with disabilities participate in the labor force, compared with 68.1% of people without disabilities (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2024). CTP exists to change that number. For 50 years, we have prepared people with disabilities for professional careers in technology, delivering over one million hours of direct service. We are peer-led: 71% of our staff are program graduates with disabilities.

Last year, 86% of our graduates achieved positive outcomes. A Department of Rehabilitation counselor with 23 years of experience told us: “My client made more progress at CTP than I have seen anyone make in the 23 years I have been at DOR.”

Five easy ways to feature CTP this October

The one-pager lays out five options, and every one is low-lift on your end. We provide the content, the speakers, and the coordination:

1. Social spotlight: a post featuring CTP’s story or a graduate profile.
2. Blog or newsletter feature: a short interview with our Executive Director or a CTP graduate.
3. Co-hosted virtual event: a 30-minute NDEAM session with your team or employee resource group.
4. ERG meet-and-learn: CTP alumni working in tech careers speak to your employees.
5. Alumni keynote speaker: a CTP graduate keynote for your NDEAM programming.
