50 Years of Opportunity—Help CTP Empower the Next Generation
For 50 years, the Computer Technologies Program (CTP) has opened doors to careers for people with disabilities. Founded in 1974 by Neil Jacobson and Scott Luebking in partnership with IBM and the California Department of Rehabilitation to answer the need for achieving independence through employment, CTP began in Berkeley, California, at the height of the Disability Rights Movement.
Today, we’ve delivered over one million hours of personalized training—evolving from COBOL programming to today’s Computer Technician Training and PRO Customer Service & Administrative programs, plus career assessment, job search coaching, and foundational tech classes. Through every shift in technology and the workforce, our commitment has remained constant, empowering each student as an individual and equipping them with essential professional and technical skills for every stage of employment, from their 1st job to advancing their career.
This holiday season, your support helps CTP build the next 50 years of impact. Please give at ctpberk.org.
